More info on the transitions town 350.org global movement event!

Time: 11 am - 1 pm

September 24th we are joining Alberni Valley Transition Town to have a community picnic/potluck . We are encouraging everyone to either walk, bike, carpool, or take city transit.

We would like to say that we are really excited about this event!

Make sure to bring the kids to see our table as;  

We the weaver park committee will have 3 poster with various peices of playground equipment, all the children will be given circle stickers to place beside there favorite peices, we will then tall the dots, and have a design made with the most popular pieces. We ask that all the kids, and the community come out, and VOTE FOR THE PLAY GROUND DESIGN, for WEAVER PARK!!!!

The kids will be selling lemonade the day of the event, please bring a cup as this is a go green event.

In addition a very generous supporter will be donating a brand new bike in which we will be raffling off !!!

For $2 a ticket.
