November 26th, 2011: Christmas Bazaar a Marvelous & Merry Benefit for the Weaver Park Playground Fundraiser

  Before we get down to the nitty-gritty details the incredibly gracious Help Revitalize Weaver Park Committee has a few shout-outs to send out! 
  Thank you to all the people who volunteered their time and resources. Thank you to Kismet quilts, and the Brick on 3rd Ave.  for donating such fabulous raffle prizes! Thank you to Marian and Jane for creating such amazing &  beautiful raffle baskets! Thank you to everyone at the Echo Center the Room Set-up looked beautiful! Thanks you to all the vendors who supported an amazing cause by renting tables.

  November 12th,2011 was the Weaver Park Playground Build Day brought to you by countless volunteers, The Let Them be Kids Organization,The Weaver Park Revitalization Committee, The City of Port Alberni, and countless other generouse sponsors.

 The New Weaver Park Plarground Cost $22,357. As of November 26th, 2011 our campaign had raised a toal of: $18,603. What amazing Progress in such a short period of time, We are so close, we are almost there!

The Cristmas Bazaar with Kids Crafts raised  $600; a significant contribution towards the remaing funds needed to pay for the new play structure!

  November 26th,2011 was a Big Fundraising Day for The Weaver Park Playground Fundraiser, with not one but two Fundraising events co-occuring.

 While the Christmas Bazaar was taking place at Echo Center, Van Isle Ford and Bejay Patterson were co-ordinating the Drive a Ford for your Community Event ( to benefit the Weaver Park Playground Fundraiser) at the Multiplex. VAN ISLE FORD Drive a Ford for your Community Event details coming soon!
